Cortex of Light (I)

Cortex of Light is an attempt to trace new configurations of the audible spectrum in order to alter the usual relations between body, mind, and sound. Born as a collaboration between Aitch, Piezo, and primordial OOze for the Saturnalia festival, the project gradually unfolded through rare yet remarkable appearances: extended kaleidoscopic sessions in which sonic space becomes a vaporous, deep, and subtle cloud. In time, out of time. Slow waves and hypnotic rhythms flow without constraint, dissolving the self into infinite particles of astral matter. Operating in the shadows yet always ready to emerge, over the past two years they have released tracks, remixes, and original mixes on Communion, Artetetra, Comic Sans, Eska, NTS Radio, Kiosk, and Radio Raheem. In 2025 they released their first full length album, Illuminotecnica, on the Berlin based label 3XL Records.
