Jonathan Fitoussi is a composer and musician who has developed a highly personal sonic language rooted in the encounter between analog electronics, minimalism, and contemporary forms. His work focuses on crafting soundscapes that blend acoustic instruments with modular synthesizers, with particular attention to the spatial and contemplative dimensions of listening. Alongside his artistic practice, he spent several years at INA‑GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales), where he worked on the preservation and restoration of historical magnetic‑tape archives, coming into contact with key figures of French experimental music.

His approach is distinguished by the use of rare instruments and recording techniques that allow him to create rich, multilayered textures. Fitoussi has composed film scores, collaborated with institutions such as the Paris Opera and with brands like Chanel, and founded the label Transversales Disques, dedicated to releasing previously unpublished works by major figures in electronic and experimental music. His productions have been released on labels including Obliques, Pan European Recording, Versatile, Hands in the Dark, and Further Records.

His music is often described as a cosmic and meditative journey, capable of transporting the listener into suspended dimensions between contemplation and exploration. Albums such as Polaris and Imaginary Lines demonstrate his ability to create sonic worlds that oscillate between compositional rigor and improvisational freedom. In his concerts and performances, Fitoussi offers immersive experiences that invite audiences into deep and transformative listening.
