Nuove Voci brings together nine young artists selected through an open call promoted by INNER_SPACES in collaboration with Radio Raheem. The event offers a broad and concrete overview of the new generation of Italian electronic music: ambient practices, electroacoustic research, and works oriented toward sound installation.

The sets will take place in different areas of the Auditorium San Fedele — the acousmatic stage, the foyer, and the Infinity space — allowing the audience to move through diverse aesthetics and listening modes throughout the afternoon and early evening. Performances will be interspersed with short breaks; the San Fedele Bistrot will remain open all day.

Admission is free: an opportunity to explore the sonic spaces of the Auditorium San Fedele and to discover up close some of the Nuove Voci that have emerged in recent years.

The day opens in the Auditorium with a live performance by Pietro Trallori, who presents Voicing Space, a work for vinyl, live electronics and octophonic diffusion. By intertwining electronic elements with real‑time manipulation of voices taken from a selection of records, he creates immersive and continuously shifting sonic environments in which architecture and sound matter merge to explore the relationship between sound, space, and listening. Closing the first segment in the Auditorium is Microsonico, the latest work by a09fd, the solo project of Sebastian Gafencu — born in Romania, raised in Sicily, now based in Milan. Microsonico takes shape through improvisation, weaving undefined rhythmic and harmonic structures with semi‑chaotic arrangements that emerge spontaneously. The project explores a spatial dimension of sound, layering microscopic and intimate environments with wide and rarefied landscapes.

The program continues in the foyer with Love Me Radically by Alessandro Gambato, an autobiographical reflection on emotional dependency, affective traps, and the inner voids one tries to fill by seeking in others what one is searching for within oneself. Love Me Radically is an improvised solo performance based on a self‑built multichannel audio system made of nine recycled speakers. The artist generates algorithmic and spatialized sounds, exploiting the lo‑fi and irregular characteristics of each loudspeaker. Through modifications, resonances, and filtering, the setup produces an immersive and constantly evolving sonic environment.

The third part of the day opens in the Auditorium with Riccardo Tesorini, a Bologna‑based composer, sound designer, and multimedia artist active in electroacoustics, improvisation, theatre, and audiovisual projects. Ecosistemi Sonori is a collective project that investigates sympoietic creation practices based on the co‑generation and iterative transformation of sonic materials within an open network. Each performance is a contingent manifestation of this evolving system. For INNER_SPACES, Tesorini presents a solo version that intertwines the network’s contributions with his acousmatic works, activating a dynamic and spatialized sonic body in real time. He is followed by Francesco Ameglio with La Pastorale Indetermina, an octophonic live performance in which the music moves like a secret that refuses to be revealed, emerging in light surfaces, rustles, and micro‑gestures that evade definition. It is a listening experience that does not disclose, slipping through the folds of the indeterminate, as if each sound were the simulacrum of something that remains elsewhere — elusive and in continuous dissolution.

The fourth act takes place in the Infinity Space with Maremmario, the musical project of Dario Niccoli centered on the material manipulation of magnetic tape — cassettes, tape loops, and multitrack recorders — where simple sounds are layered, degraded, and transformed into slow, cyclical, and unstable compositions. With an essential setup and a performance practice based on dubbing, every gesture on the tape becomes part of a fragile and continuously reworked process. The analog character of the live set will be enhanced by the Infinity IRS BETA system and the legendary Convergent SL1.

The day concludes with the final act in the Auditorium featuring the live performances of IDRA, Thanks Autumn, and Giulia Rae. IDRA, a Milan‑based musician, producer, and sound artist with classical training and a focus on experimental and ambient electronics, presents Essentia, a quadriphonic performance that explores sound as a container of traces and memories. Through synths, modular systems, and samples, she constructs a transforming sonic landscape where spatialization, layering, and rarefaction shape perception and reveal hidden echoes and identities. She is followed by Thanks Autumn, the project of Luca Gallio — musician, sound artist, and sound designer active both as a soloist and in collaborations within the performing arts. His music intertwines IDM, musique concrète, and ambient, alternating enveloping sonorities with sparse and abrasive timbres, rarefied textures, and deconstructed rhythms. The evening closes with Giulia Rae, performing on the acousmonium with interpretation by Marco Verna. A Brussels‑based sound artist, her research is grounded in creative coding and combines digital textures, dilated pulsations, and enveloping bass with concrete sounds and voice, creating layered soundscapes where the organic and the artificial merge and invite an immersive and exploratory listening experience.
