Musician, composer, and producer Daniel Lopatin continues to work at the intersection of music, art, and cinema. With 11 studio albums to his name—including R Plus Seven, Replica, Garden of Delete, Age Of, Magic OPN, and Again—his latest work, Tranquilizer, has received widespread critical acclaim. An established artist who moves fluidly across musical genres, he is also the author of numerous film scores, including Marty Supreme (2025), Uncut Gems (2019), and Good Time (2017), for which he received the award for Best Soundtrack at the Cannes Film Festival.
In recent years, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including James Blake, Charli XCX, Iggy Pop, Anohni, David Byrne, and Nine Inch Nails. Notably, his long‑standing relationship with The Weeknd led him to serve as musical director for the artist’s 2021 Super Bowl halftime performance. Lopatin also acted as executive producer for The Weeknd’s chart‑topping albums Dawn FM and Hurry Up Tomorrow, and composed the original score for the film of the same name.
