Viktor Toikkanen is a composer, musician and sound artist from Helsinki, Finland. His work is divided between films, visual and performing arts and live music. Recently he was involved in a modular synthesizer project from a new flagship library in the city of Helsinki.
His approach to sound formation is close to the production of ceramics: for Toikkanen, audio synthesis is like clay slowly forming into more complex forms; there is no beginning or end, the music is always playing, it varies according to the space and time in which we enter.
